Set up like a traditional book store, Browsers Corner Book Store is organized by category in a 1,700-square-foot space. Inventory changes constantly, with volunteers removing books that haven’t been purchased in three months.

The used-materials stocked and sold in the book store depend entirely on community donations of books, magazines, audio and visual materials and games and puzzles. Up to 95% of net profits are then donated to the Carson City Library to help purchase additional books, periodicals, art reproductions, technological equipment, furnishings and other materials as needed. Gift cards are also available for purchase at the store. All funds are used to help support the library.
