“Giving Tuesday” is a global day of giving on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving each year.
In light of the large quantities of money spent on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to kick off the holiday season with an act of charity. One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community.
Donations given here on our website – or by mailing them in or visiting us at Browsers Corner Book Store – will be used to support the Carson City Library. You can also email us at info@friendscclibrary.org or message us on social media with any questions.
There are a variety of projects and items to donate or donate toward. And any amount or type of giving helps, from volunteering and book donations to contributions for new shelving, seating, technology or children’s programs.
Keep in mind, many of the amazing things you see at the library today are due to generous donations through the Friends.
You can also choose to give by shopping on Smile.Amazon.com and selecting an organization of your choice, including the Friends of the Carson City Library.
Give now and share your involvement online with the hashtag, #GivingTuesday.
